MintyBright™ Nu is a natural, safe active ingredient with scientifically proven results that provides an alternative to existing, often aggressive treatments on the market for skin brightening.
The product was developed specifically to meet the needs of Asian and Arab consumers, where there is a strong aspiration for lighter skin tone. MintyBright™ Nu is a powder extract derived from apple mint leaves, which are rich in antioxidative flavonoids known to influence melanin (skin pigment) production in the skin. MintyBright™ Nu is specifically formulated to support skin brightening, even skin tone, and reduce hyperpigmentation. It has been proven to inhibit melanin synthesis and to stimulate the expression of genes involved in the prevention of oxidative stress in skin, a factor known to contribute to darker skin spots.
The efficacy of MintyBright™ Nu has been demonstrated in a placebo-controlled clinical study involving 99 female adults who received a daily dose of 150 mg over 12 weeks.
The study revealed significant improvements in various skin parameters:
- Skin Lightness increased significantly compared to initial condition and placebo group.
- Skin Color Brightening raised by impressive 16%, measured as ITA°, a system categorizing skin color types.
- Skin Tone Evenness improved visibly towards a more uniform complexion compared to initial condition
