Shepherd's purse, a plant from the cruciferous family (Brassicaceae), has a long history in natural medicine, particularly for its anti-inflammatory properties and ability to promote wound healing. Its scientific name, Capsella bursa-pastoris, refers to the shape of its fruits, which resemble the pockets of old shepherds. Recent studies have shown that the plant extract is effective against pyroptosis.

AmelioSense™ combines shepherd's purse extract with a powerful antioxidant complex that includes carnosine, tocopherol, and silymarin. This combination offers benefits such as protection against oxidative stress and inflammation. The formulation is spray-granulated onto maltodextrin to enhance skin penetration
