Connecting with Asia’s Nutraceutical Industry at Vitafoods Asia and HiKorea
From Seoul to Bangkok, our team presented the latest science behind our healthy aging portfolio and connected with industry experts from APAC.
From August 25-27, our team attended HiKorea 2026 in Seoul, an important meeting point for Korea’s nutraceutical industry and international ingredient suppliers.
A special highlight was the technical seminar by Dr. Torsten Grothe, who presented Mibelle Biochemistry’s innovative healthy aging portfolio. His technical seminar, “Unlocking the Future of Healthy Aging: Food Supplement Actives to Target the Hallmarks of Aging and Longevity” attracted more than 60 participants.
During the seminar, Torsten shared the science behind MonaJuventa™ Nu, SaraPEPP™ Nu and DracoBelle™ Nu, highlighting how these innovative food supplement actives address different aspects of healthy aging. Following the seminar, many interested customers visited our booth to learn more, demonstrating the relevance of science-backed and innovative ingredients in the Asian market.
Our edible prototypes containing these ingredients were especially popular. Visitors had the opportunity to try a delicious, ultra-thin edible film featuring our skin-brightening active MintyBright™ Nu, an application format that is popular in Korea. Flavored beverage powder in convenient single-serve stick sachets featuring MonaJuventa™ Nu or MintyBright™ Nu also attracted plenty of interest.
Dr. Torsten Grothe also spoke with NutraIngredients at HiKorea about the continued popularity of beauty from within in South Korea. He shared insights into changing consumer needs, popular application formats, and why science-backed ingredients, such as MintyBright™ Nu and DracoBelle™ Nu are well-suited for the Korean market.
Just one week later, the team travelled to Bangkok, Thailand, for Vitafoods Asia, which took place from September 2-4 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. More than 16,000 visitors from over 80 countries and around 800 exhibitors came together for the three-day event.
As Asia’s leading nutraceutical industry event, Vitafoods Asia brings together ingredient suppliers, manufacturers, researchers, product developers and brands. It provides an inspiring platform to discover the latest trends and innovations.
Vitafoods Asia offered another valuable opportunity to meet with our customers and partners from across the region, discuss emerging trends and present our latest science-backed solutions.
Again, our prototypes proved to be a hit with visitors to our booth: the tasty single-serve stick sachets featuring MintyBright™ Nu and herbal candies containing our healthy aging active MonaJuventa™ Nu.
Another major highlight was MonaJuventa™ Nu being named a finalist in the “Ingredient of the Year: Healthspan” category at the NutraIngredients-Asia Awards 2026, a recognition we are very proud of.
